"Successful results from this field have the potential to give us production and income that would move us from a micro-company to a medium sized oil and gas company."
-- Carl Yeatman, CEO Consolidated Oil & Gas
Consolidated Oil & Gas, Inc. (CSLG) has acquired a 749 acre lease in Southwest, Texas.
This lease is known as the Maverick Basin Flank Prospect and comprises seven pay zones and 10 wells.
We have been successful in squeezing off the water zone of the Grelle #1 Well as of January 28, 2007. The cement has been drilled out and we are waiting on the perforating truck. We will perforate an additional 40 to 50 feet of the zone and then decide if fracturing of the zone is necessary.
The Grelle #1 well was tested in Anacacho and an Upper San Miquel Stringer Sand as of September 26, 2006.
